Updates on search

Since we rolled out our new search system, we've done a number of fixes and feature enhancements. For one, we've migrated the search system to a new, dual opterons server, which boosted performance significantly, and an end to any remaing connection timeout errors. Although yesterday, there was a 4 hours downtime when the server got rebooted and didn't come back up correctly. That's fixed now.

Among various updates and tweaks in further boosting the relevance of your search results, a notable enhancement is in phrase searching. Phrase search with common words is no longer an issue, every term is now considered in a phrase search with "quotes". For international character sets, you still might encounter an error so please use English only alphabets for now. A fix will be available soon.

UPDATE: International character input errors have been fixed now, you can use non-EN keyboards without a server error. Our torrent categorization algorithms have also been significantly improved, so category filtering in torrent search is now more accurate and have more torrents classfied.
