Just a quick question: Do you call it you-torrent or micro-torrent?
Also how many people acknowledge that the symbol infront of torrent is a micro symbol (µ), and not an inferior U. |

anyone with any degree of commonsense, or has read the faq on utorrents homepages... ...which come to think of it goes back to that commonsense thing. |

I suppose Micro torrent would make more sense as the client is tiny.
Calling it uTorrent is just easier though and makes typin the name less of a pain. |

i've never thought about the program could be called MICRO-torrent..
and i've never heard anybody calling it something else than utorrent.. cos thats what its called...!!... i'd be quite surprised to see a high poll count on the micro-torrent option!!

I'm only replying because you said many wouldn't. I call it U torrent because if someone goes to look it up on google that's what you type in. That's about as simple an explanation as I can give. |

For arguments sake if you type micro torrent into your address bar it will redirect you to the µTorrent website |

Damn, there goes my argument. Of course the website is still spelled utorrent. That's the way I have always said it and I ain't changing now. That's all I have to say. Seriously, if someone told me they used micro torrent, I would say "What the f*** is that?" Either way, anyone who doesn't use miro/U torrent is a fool. |

I think some people might have voted option two out of fear option one may make them seem ignorant. |

These are my favourite bits...

Either that or some sort of back-street underground cookie, purchased off a gun-toting maniac high on his own supply of yeast. You certainly wouldn't want to be caught carrying one of these through customs. |
