Im still reading over these letters but I know more copyright laws than this woman does and that is sad. Half of these statements she's making make me want to gouge my eyes out, flip upside down and try to vomit in my own skull! I can feel my IQ lessening with each letter of theres I read (the lovely "staff" of MG) but like some kind of sick accident waiting to happen I just can't keep myself from moving on to the next letter which is just worse! The lovely written letter calling the site owner a coward and going on to say that they are "protecting the rights of talented artists who can't afford to have there music pirated." O.o.....??? To this I have to first laugh, and second I say if the bands are so "talented" I dont think they would care if there albums were "priated" to spread there name out, addict a whole new generation of followers to there music who then purchase t-shirts, concert tickets, etc. to go see the bands who they fell in love with and became obsessed with all because they "pirated" an album off of a website.....Now that I have ranted my piecee, back to the letters!

EDIT: The time is 10:12 PM and I have just read the last letter and all i have to say is WOW. That woman is a piece of.....something. I will reserve any further commentary so I don't get drug into this frackus even though every fiber of my being wants to scream out at her ridiculous antics and those of her "co-workers". In my own personal opinion there was wrong doings on both sides of the arguments. The heated contacts from Russel were an unnecessary bit and were he my employee, if he were invading my email and replying to corespondences of mine his employment would have been terminated immediately. Secondly, Mr. Pavel had no need or real rights to delve into her past and post Ms. Filipak's previous records in such a manner in an attempt to discredit her but, as the information is accessible to anyone on the internet via the freedom of information act, he commited no illegal acts and there was no defamation of character involved. On the other hand, the statements made against Mr. Pavel calling him an internet predator is indeed defamation of character. Ms. Filipak seems quite ready to quote US law but I must point out that Mr. Pavel does not fall under United States Jurisdiction and all of his actions are subject to the laws and regulations of his home country so if she wishes to pursue any type of legal recourse she would need to brush up on her russian and research there laws if she hoped to get any type of damages for her case. But I digress, Im not an attorney, im just a fat guy that watches too many court room shows and spent half a semester daydreaming through business law classes in high school so I am SOMEWHAT familiar with the laws surrounding this incident and I see no precendence whatsoever in this matter that would even warrant it going to trial.

I... I just can't believe this ....

First of all, How dare her send threat messages? And That was shown from her very first message :

"You, the "Torrent Enabler," have been alerted on numerous occasions about the illegal copying of our music and most have complied with the removal requests however, the instances of such infringement have been occurring more frequently. Therefor, in an effort to avoid any future copyright Infringements of our music we request that you BLOCK all future attempts to upload any files "

By the way, does she know she's talking with a Torrent search site admin/owner to start with? I mean ask your uncle Friendly, What's more, He's from Russia for God's sake xD

but the first message was enough for me to say .... you and your ....ing "Excuse my french" ....ty, ....ed up and BORRRRING music, o I actually went ahead and tried 'em on amazon, I didn't d/l 'em or anything Twisted Evil

But I do find Pavel a little bit guilty WASTING his time on her, He should have done the same thing as Allen, BLOCK THE f**kin email "Excuse my French <<Learned this from the message "2010-01-13-00_15_bs" Which had me ROFL for 5mins"

Sadly even though it's uncalled for, unlike what cuntzilla did, it's absolutely true.

You have to be pretty narrow minded to make a false accusation with no evidence to just send an angry "blind rage" letter like that.

I agree we shouldn't support them, but also, we should let them know reality.

Are you kidding? If Pavel is a child predator, why would Filipak want to cut a deal with him?

I'm downloading this now and have skimmed some of the posts here. I have also boomarked the blog from bitsnoop to read ove, but it's getting late and I think this is worth a read the first opportunity tomorrow.

Perhaps this woman has been, or knows a victim of such a horrible act. I honestly believe that people that do such things deserve public castration and torture, yet I think perhaps she is misguided and has started her crusade with the wrong foot. If this is the case I do wish her well and would support her with everything I can, but until she pulls her head out of her ass and can get to the root of her problems, she can go get f**k*d.

But I'll be honest and fair, that's a knee jerk reaction on my part and do need to read a little more into this.
