I'm thinking of overclocking my cpu and I thought a temperature monitor would be handy, anyone have a good one they could recommend?

Software. I already tried cpucool and waterfall, but those didn't work so I'm seeing if anyone could refer me to one.

You could also try this.Its alot more powerful.You can monitor and benchmark with it.You can overclock with it too but i wouldnt recommend that,i only overclock via the bios.

If your running win98 chances are your motherboard is old too so your chances of overclocking are very slim.Perhaps a prog called Everest can tell you what mobo you have.

My old machince was a P3 700MHz on an 815chipset mobo
OCing was as simple as changing some settings in the BIOS
It used to run at +860MHz (cant remember xactly - weak memory Smile )
using the default HeatSink, but Open Cabinet Very Happy
