isoHunt Lite fixes, want feedback

You can if you use a proxy site...Dez told me about ultimaprox.com and thats the only way I can access it..and it sucks.

The forums are unaffected by this isohunt lite is just the search feature forced upon us USA citizens Sad

Great.... Another Torrent site bites the dust... anybody know of a site that is like the OLD Isohunt or BETTER? I am the type that would go into Search: type in 1080p and see whats new and whats been posted in last couple days and see... OH ya that came out... download. or Ooooo that looks interesting... download... but now i cant do those type of searches and sorting anymore on here. I Strongly disagree with the changes. so im looking for a new site... any feedback would be appreciated.

EDIT: i found that you can sort by 1Day/7day ect... so that makes it a little easier but still disapointed.. but can't sort by SEEDS anymore.. thats not good... sometimes i need too find things with less seeds cause its not as popular of a title ect... and i find this too be a big inconvinience...

Isohunt is just keeping within a US judges ruling, it isn;t going away!

If you're in the USA and you have probs just go to http://www.ultimaprox.com/ and enter http://isohunt.com/ and your old isohunt is back! Very Happy

Are you guys at IH aware that sorting on the original Isohunt is broken? You can click on the column headers and it will change the sort order, but it isn't sorting properly.

I'm assuming that you're working on adding sorting to Isohunt Lite and that work is what has broken the original site. I just wanted to make sure that you were aware that it's broken, as it's making it almost unusable for my purposes.

The only way I can go to forums(without proxy) is if I go straight to forums. No homepage, no shout box and if I click on active posts in forums it takes me to Lite version. So it's either Index, Search or New Posts.

ditto but i've got NO probs connecting to forums using https://isohunt.com/forum/search.php?search_id=newposts as the home page for IH - brings me to what i want
edit or like jenga said index/search/newposts - but active posts brings on the lite

isoHunt classic sorting was broken from database improvement yesterday, unrelated to Lite.

And we are working on adding sort options to Lite.

Interesting, I'm posting directly (no proxy) right now from the US. I wonder why I can and you can't?

EDIT: I navigated here from isohunt.com/forum. At the Index/Search/New Posts/Active Posts, I selected Index, then News, then "isoHunt Lite fixes, want feedback." Search and New Posts both work, but Active Posts does kick you back out to Isohunt Lite.

Just like anything else in life when things change we must adapt and overcome. I believe you guys are doing your best and we need to adjust to the change. Right now I use an I.P. hide program so it switches formats depending when I open your site. I kind of got used to your new thumbs up so when the old style comes up I have to check for comments. Either way it works for me. Thanx much!

jenga mentions no proxy too

you, me, jenga, and quite a few other US -- no proxy, straight forums -
still the active posts and searches result in redirect to lite
but for the most part no proxy is needed

use whatever works for you, me? i'm just happy to be cruisin the forums with only an occasional hiccup here and there for searches or whatevers

Good enough for me, I mean I think Gary's already stated what needs to be added at lite in the previous comments, I'm sure it will all work out. Feel bad for those who "jump ship" as stated earlier, because I aint hearing no fat lady sing.....this could have already gone the way of mininova but is still working and Mr. Fung is asking for positive feedback on improvements while battling it out with the courts still! Personally I'd like to thank IH or Gary Fung and everyone for the efforts put forward.
