IH has been my one stop to figure out what i should and what i shouldn't spend money on . . .now we have IH Lite, and this sadens me greatly, I miss the shout box and the forums which kept me up to date and informed on the latest advances in movies music and programs . . . but, because i have become a die hard IH fan, I will continue to use Lite and hope that it evolves into something I love just as much as I did the original . . . stay strong ISOHUNT and don't let greedy Big Brother bring ya down. Wow Smile Super cool! You've put up a new version that looks eerily familiar Wink Thank you! And I very much like the option to see which files are in the torrent.

But while you're still at it, can I suggest three small changes? Instead of describing, I'll just post a screenshot again:

http://imgur.com/vRy5Z?full

Summary:

1. It is visually confusing to use blue for anything else than the 'main' link.
2. Add a little bit of white space to make it less 'packed'
3. Tone down the secondary links - at the moment, they draw attention away from the 'main' link, and that's unwanted & unnecessary

Hope you like it. If not, I'll just shut up Smile

I would say to add association with Facebook and iH forum usernames would be nice.

Also the 'comments' tag on the iH Lite results page seems to be inaccurate.. I know if the data is stored on FB servers it might be a little difficult to access the database and correctly read the results and format them without more scripting/coding.

There was something else but it slipped my mind..

Sadly, site started to redirect me to the USA lite version again at random, although I'm in Canada.

Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't... took me a while finally get into the forums.

Love the new comments section for Lite with the added username feature via DISQUS with account linkage features to show our iH username..

Have posted a bug report due to the comments page not displaying correctly. Seems to be an SSL error only occuring on Lite when using https:// rather than http://

many search engines have the ability to give a thumbs up/thumbs down thing and you're able to comment on links you like. Google used to do this, although it may have been removed. Scour does this, and I think Yahoo! might do this, but I'm not really sure about that. You're able to do this in regular isohunt and hexagon.cc, but not on isohunt lite.

If people don't like change, then they should stay away from things which is obviously going to change. The Internet is what, 10 years old as we know it today. It is extremely technology and community dependent. Does it really take that much "brain powah" understand? Or is it just that people with low mental capacity have a hard time adjusting to new things?

I think isohunt is a brilliant site and the guys behind are doing a bang up job! As time passes we get more experience which helps us see what works and what doesn't.

Still having the same issue...

Someone at ISOHunt fixed it before, but it's come back for the past week maybe two.

All my searches bring up the ISOHunt Lite instead of the regular ISOHunt. I'm in Canada though, not the USA so not sure why it keeps switching me to the Lite version.

Can anyone take a look? Thanks

It may just be misreading your IP/hostname and thinking it is an American ISP. Try resetting your IP address if you have a dynamic one..

Also, another feature that would be nice for Lite is the +1/-1 as with the normal iH. Not everyone knows they can login to the forums and click 'Settings & History' to view their previous downloads and +1/-1 them.

No it should be fine... posted here once before about the same problem about 2 days after Lite came out... one of the site mods said my IP was fine, not US (that's what I thought too) and said it was all fixed.

2 weeks later... doing it again. My bookmark takes me to the Settings/History page. If I try going to the regular home page or search it pops me back into LITE. Confused

I am a fairly new user. I came to like isohunt best because of the easy-to-read comments.

What were the legal reasons for removing comments from the new lite version?

Is there anyway for us sad users in the US to find those comments again?
