Best of the Best: Movie Action Heroes

Seeing as the premier of 'The Expendables' has just occurred in L.A. this put me in the mood for a poll LOL! a poll for you to vote for your fav action heroes, not necessarily the best, just your own personal fav guys or gals that make you wanna see a film.

I have tried to get everyone in but I know some will moan hehe I am using BIG names new and old here, stars who have or do act in big, brainless, gun totting, fisticuffs filled, car chasing, explosion filled, testosterone pumped popcorn flicks....eg. Lethal Weapon type affairs, you know the kind of guys I mean Wink

Certain people I haven't put in because they may have made one or two action/spy/cop films but they mainly do a whole range/spectrum of films and aren't really always associated as a BIG ACTION STAR eg. Matt Damon

Older stars like Eastwood or Caine I haven't added because their films aren't really that kind of big popcorn kick ass type films if you get me, they tend to be more sensible, realistic thriller type affairs, if you read me Wink

Many of them are great actors which have made great movies, love Transporter with Jason Statham, Stallone has made some great ones, but nothing compares to a dirty, bloody, whisky drinking, cigarr smoking, Bruce Willis in Die Hard Smile

Definition of action movies with style! = Bruce Willis (He plays "cop" most of the times, just to beat up bad guys legally)

And second , "Clint Eastwood".

I voted for Jason Statham because I enjoy his movies. Purely from an entertainment point of view.

If the question was "Who's the biggest baddass fighter" then I'd say that Seagal would kick most of their asses, even at the age he's at now...
I'm not talking about what you see on screen either. The dude's a 7th dan in Aikido with an early (age 7) grounding in Karate.

He severely needs a stylist, to pick decent clothes for him though, as his taste in clothes is rotten... he dresses like that embarrassing uncle that we all have. I also reckon nobody has the balls to tell him this to his face! Laughing

ps. Eddie Murphy is on the list?! WTF?!

Just kidding, did Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, Hanbo Jitsu myself when I was "little"
... Can be street effective, but takes years to be.

Don't forget that all the Chinese action stars have a cruel some "education" in WuShu.

My personal favs would be Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, Arnie (old school fav's like predator and commando), and Harrison ford, who has to get a mention after i just finshed watching indiana jones trilogy (fourth one doesnt count Smile

)!!!
