The Last Airbender

I downloaded this cartoon for my nephew and wound up watching it, it was called Avatar: the Last Airbender

and I was actually kind of sucked in by it.
Well I was browsing youtube today and found this.

Insanely they are planning on making a live action movie based on it apparently. The insane part being that it looks like they are actually going to try and do a good job of it. (the director's daughter is apparently a fan of the show as well)

While many of the members here may not really be that directly interested (I admit I am one of those rare adults that watches cartoons still)
I figure your kids might be because my nephew totally freaked when I sent him the link.

Anyhow, just thought I would make it known...

I LOVE Avatar! It's my favorite show, and I'm really excited for the live-action movie. Especially because it's directed by M. Night. Shayamalan.

While I have never seen the TV show the movie commercials I have seen on TV look pretty good.

His next project is supposedly battle angel.
Which will be epic if done with the same quality.

Yeah I also just realized my mistake don't know if I can change the title of the thread haven't tried but it should just read "The Last Airbender"

Let's also agree that both the movie, and the unrelated TV series are good.

Now, I should try to watch more eps of the TV series, seeing as I have the whole collection too XD

But yeah, the movie....It's probably the first movie I've felt any real hype for, I mean, I actually made a sig for it, I've never done THAT for a movie or TV series before >_>

It better not suck, story wise (the visuals don't suck, at least)!

Mwa I don't think this film is going to be thát good, since the serie was already a succes and they would like to 'top it'. I think if they make a movie make it cartoon, just the way it is right now. So atleast they won't screw up lol..

Thanks for sharing this link. The Last Airbender is really one of the best anime shows. This is not only for kids. Even the aged people also can watch this show.
