Damn government (Australian) is at it again, first they dropped the alcohol percentage allowed from %9 to %8 now they're going to drop it again to %6 but still charge the same price! i think this is BS. if the alcohol in the drink drops the price should drop right??
I know I can mix it my self, but sometimes its easier to just buy 4 pre-mixed cans and take that over someones house. Buy a bottle for twice the price and some other bastard with no money will drink half of it. hehehe |

Hell at least your substance of choice is legal. I prefer marijuana, but short of traveling half way around the world I can't even partake legally.
So count your blessings.
I've been pretty much sober since I got too old to be running around and dealing with shady types just to get something.

I hate it whan the government tries to parent us. F*** OFF!!
Britain is at it all the time exept they do it the other way and raise the prices to deter binge drinkers.
The only thing that will do is make people such as myself buy less food. |

The Scottish parliament has introduced this ban on alcohol promotions at supermarkets. They used to do deals like 3 case of beer for twenty squid but they're not allowed to do that now so the sell them for 7 bucks each. Go figure.
The gov. are trying so hard to shake off this drunken image of Scotland but are attacking the wrong people. There is talk of a minimum price on alcohol but i consider that blasphemy. If you work hard all week then it is your human right to be able to have a blow out at the end of the week that doesnt cost a f**kin arm and a leg. We aint all on bloody footballers or politicians wages, yeah? |

I cant do pre-mixed.
I want hard liquor. Preferably NOW!!

i've never liked pre-mixed
also
why buy pre-mixed???
mixing ones own drink IMO is the best way to go
it's a built in self-limiter
once one can no longer mix their own drinks
then they are cut-off until they can pour their favorite blend
besides people have different tastes
like my favorite sailor jerry rum with diet dr. pepper
others might like to use diet coke, apple juice, or whatever - instead
so ones best bet is to buy the hard liquor and a variety of other to mix it with
plus you can vary the concentration to individual limits
some people can handle 1:2 while others might dilute 1:3 or 4
alcohol:(other) - to dilute |

Just think of this: At least we US citizens don't live in the 20s when there was Prohibition.
On the other hand, we wouldn't have isohunt or computers if we did, so that point was rather moot.
(Just kidding around!) |

Pre-mix is for p*ssies. 1:1 Jack & Coke, or straight up in a shot glass.
When Jack is not an option, Vodka and pretty much any mix works for me.
As for the Gov't and pricing booze, It's called sin tax (booze, smokes, etc) |
