How to get set up IRC using XChat (simple guide for noobs)

First one to PM me gets my X-chat license. Paid for so it is not a hack or pirated. I have paid for Mirc and have not used Xchat for almost 2 years now.

Im phasing out my IRC channel as it was made to accompany my Hex group along with DjDezzie's DJs Group, both of which are due to kick the bucket.
Ive added my newly registered channel to the first post under recommended channels. Feel free to take a look.

The original post has been updated with a warning regarding registering real life details. I have also included a link to XChat-WDK which is completely free and contains more features than the "regular" XChat.

Hi everyone,

I am interested in learning how to use XChat-WDK for File Sharing to download music albums.

1.) Could I use this tutorial with XChat-WDK?

2.) After following this tutorial guide, how do I download? It seems like I can't find anything using a XDCC search engine. Would it be a good idea to join something like Undernet with #mp3passion? Would Undernet be considered the network, or server? I'm guessing that mp3passion is the channel? Could I get albums from that particular channel? Or would there be a bigger channel with a different server/network where I could get music albums from? One I am connected, and then joined the channel, what would be the next step to download?

No idea, this is for #isohunt and we don't allow XDCC
