I made up my mind the first time I tried to use Lite. Thank you so much for bringing back the old search engine.
I won't miss Lite because I never used it. Now I can get rid of my proxies.

I don't want to complain given the legal issues and hassles that IH has to deal with. However, before IH Lite I was able to search IH with a variety of different catagories like music, video, book, most seeded and/or leeched, age, etc..... The IH that has returned can be searched only by highest ranked (and honestly, that is often not that helpful) and a narrow range of time frames. Is that how it is going to be set up from now on or are the other options going to return? Either way, it is great that it is back, just wondering. Also, I wish you the best of luck with your legal issues and will donate when I have the funds to do so.

until we are able to appeal the US court injunction, categories and top searches are disabled in US.

haha that's what I thought too! Glad to see the "original" IH back, it's far more user friendly.

Thanks IH! Smile

Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of torrents missing/unavailable? Just curious because I can search for a particular person and it tell me there are X number of listings that are unavailable due to age or catagory limits check filters. To me it seems as though certain downloaders are no longer available. I will keep trying, but it sure seems odd considering we are back to the old setup and not lite.

Make sure the age filter is set to none. Also if you have a category selected you will get the same message it's just telling you your filter selections have blocked some results.

The filter has now been implemented for a few months and prevents a list of film related phrases from showing up in the search results.

torrentfreak isn't isohunt.there's no keyword filter as that would never work, you would block the good with the bad.

what has been done is to block access to some searches to people in the US,just read a few posts earlier by IH.if you aren't in the US there has been no change.

to be fair, blocking searches is keyword filtering. Not by choice but by court order, and for US only.
