burning files

i know that this might be a bad question but i have to ask it
i use alcohol 120 and nero 6 when i try to burn a bin file in alcohol 120 it burns for a little bit and them stops but my cd/rw bunner keeps on runing i am using a sony 20x/10x/40x with windows xp sp1 is there a guide on how to use this that is very easy because i am very new to this. an also can i burn a kvcd movie with alcohol 120 , as far as mounting it i am not quite sure so please help and thanks.

open nero click burn image then use pull down and use [nrg;iso;cue] show nero where the file is click on cue, burn
