Spartacus : Gods Of The Arena is out now

I just started to watch the first part of the prequeil to Spartacus: Blood & Sand. Spartacus : Gods Of The Arena is Exellent.. Very Happy

I would still like to see the original Spartacus: Blood & Sand but cuz lead actor Andy Withfield (Spartacus) won't be coming back for season 2 because his health issues.. That makes me little sad.. It was the best show on the air last year.. Wink

New lead actor has been chosen to replace Andy Withfield (Spartacus). Australian actor Liam McIntyre has landed the role of Spartacus for season 2

There's a New Spartacus in Town

Following a "grueling and rigorous audition process," Australian actor Liam McIntyre has landed the role of Spartacus in the second season of the mondo-cool Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

McIntyre was cast in the role after Andy Whitfield was forced to leave the show for health reasons. Whitfield has given McIntyre his blessing. Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said, "It was important to us to have Andy endorse the idea of recasting this part, which he did in the same heroic manner that he's dealt with his whole ordeal. And that, coupled with our fortune in finding a young actor with the gladiator credentials and the acting ability of Liam, makes it easier for us to keep this hit franchise going."

Whitfield was treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma and had seemed to have beaten it. When it recurred later, he announced his departure to undergo an aggressive course of treatment.

I just hope that Andy Withfield will get better.. And hipe that this new Spartacus actor is good.. But no one can replace Andy.. Wink

It's out in the US for 4 weeks now.

Saw episode 4 of 6 (I guess) yesterday.

This show is damn good.
