torrent question

So, I've uploaded 20 gigs of data the past couple days and I have a feeling my ISP is going to get angry. Is it possible to transfer a torrent + data via external hard drive to other computers? How can I let the tracker know that I would like to seed? I have several friends who are willing to seed and I would like to just give them the files via external hard drive. Is this possible or do they have to download it?

This doesn't really answer my question at all. The torrent is already up and running. I just want to know if I can create additional seeds without actually downloading through uTorrent. Can I just copy the files to someones hard drive via external hard drive so they can seed as well (they will have the torrent file too).

yes, put the files wherever your torrent client is downloading to, start the torrent; you will seed the data.
