The submarine in the 6th picture seems to have won, 2 inches ahead of others despite of the same link ! Razz

........But why wouldn't the U.S. want to invest in this technoligy, or is it that Sweden won't share/sell?

that's just a diesel/electric sub.the one from the pic is a nuke seawolf class.the stuff i print for them is pretty interesting but i'm not allowed to say anything because of my security clearance stuff.

I have security clearance, have signed the Official Secrets Act too ....... worked for a company called LONTEC who worked hand in hand with the MOD Naval Division ........

Sweden is the second largest wepons exporter per capita in the world, so I'd say it must be that the US. ain't interested in them, however as we don't have large oceans to protect we mostly have stuff for land defence and coast defence, something that perhaps don't suit the US. However our sub could with little difficulty sneak up to the US and deliver a nasty supprise, but we have no reason to do that, we are perhaps not on the same stage as UK and Germany, but we are pretty close ally with the US.

When I was in the military, that all men in Sweden pretty much had to spend 3-12 months in untill recent, I used to have a high security clearance as well, but thats all gone now, but I do know a thing or two Wink
