Stupid WoW account hackers

So recently my WoW account got hacked. I hadn't played (nor payed) in 6 months and all of a sudden I get a email that my account was suspended for 72 hours over using ingame hacks.

I mean... it wasn't even supposed to be active ?

Upon checking my account status I found that it had been linked to an account via the Recruit a Friend option and that is was open because that give you a free month.

But as it was banned, I had to change the password. For good messure I changed the email adress too.

After logging in I found that all my gear had been deleted, but that Blizzard had put all of it back in ingame mails to my different toons.

The funniest thing is, they were gold farming and got suspended before being able to transfer the money way from my account. So I contacted the ingame support and when I asked what I should do with the money they left on my account I got told :

"What you do with the money ? You enjoy it Very Happy

"

So those hackers actualy gave me a Free Month of Game time, the new Flying Rocket mount that seats two and... 24.000+ Gold Smile

All I can say is, they should hack my account more often Smile
