From all of them above, CPF (Comodo) and Zonealarm are the better ones. Privatefirewall is good.

I've installed Comodo and set it at training mode so it won't confuse any of family members with any questions..
And in Ubuntu I'm using their built in firewall

ive been using comodo for quite some time, it seems to work well.
you certainly have lots of options with four firewall security levels and another four defense + levels to choose from.
you really have to do your homework to be able to use it properly. my firewall security level is "safe mode" and my defense + level is "clean pc".
if i run any higher levels of security i have too many warning notifications,it becomes a bit too "noisy" for me.
i would be curious to know if others are running higher levels.
i wish some of the notifications had better descriptions of their origin rather than just the name of the program type.

I use my router as firewall followed by Pfsense http://www.pfsense.org/ that runs on a very cheap dedicated box, close as I can get to an appliance firewall and runs just as well. I find Windows 7's firewall is enough to protect me with the router and PFsense on the go.
