Hey everyone, noticed there hadn't been a post in here for awhile so;

I love music. And listen to lots of different stuff all the time, the type depending on mood.
Someone asked me the other day to name my all time favorite bands, and after a bit of thought I realised it was harder than you think.
There are so many good bands to choose from. Now the most challenging bit was to commit to a band as your all time favorite when, mood, trends and time changes.

The worst bit is when I was a teenager it would be Nirvana hands down.
I still rate them up there but to be honest how often do I put it on now and are they in my top say, three?
And do you pick the cool favorites that people will go aaw.. cool, or do you pick the ones you like.. just because you do!

Would be interested in your list of top three all time bands or even what's on rotation at the moment.

My top three at the moment in no particular order (that I actually still listen to):

The Dandy Warhols

The Pixies

The Cure (and no not for robmeads approval)

On Rotation at the minute:

The Soft pack

Spoon

Modest mouse

What do you listen to?

I tried to search for previous threads and didn't find any, obviously incorrectly.. Sorry.

Don't take this the wrong way but I don't but i don't care what bands someone liked in 2007 (in reference to your links). I was interested in people online at the moment..

And as I said its easy to name great bands, but which ones do you listen still to. Or what new ones are you listening to was the gist of the post.

Same, some ace, have mellowed a lot but still like a little more on the punk/indie/rock side.

So what is in your Cd/mp3 player at the moment then?
