Pronunciations of µTorrent

not all of 'em - aloud i say either or, depends on the listener
same as with spelling occasionally i take the extra time and effort to create the µ symbol but more often than not it is much easier to just use u
but i am one of the 3 ( edit now 4 but i was #3) that voted for micro

Well the voice in my head (I call it " The Narrator ") pronounces it " Moo-Torrent " for the µ at the start.

Personally, I call it Coefficient-of-Friction-Torrent Laughing

I used that before and it was basically the same thing a uTorrent.

Even though I know it is official 'micro'-torrent, I just find it is easiest to type it out as 'u'-torrent and because of that pronounce it that way too.

Though I do like the 'coefficient-of-friction' thing - very nice, Padishar.

Actually I think the spelling is mu not moo for micro. Although mu also relates to Permeability, no name has actually been adopted for this unit.

mu also relates to measurement uncertainty.

These are the three best relations to this particular client.

Y = You Torrent
I = I Torrent
WA = We all torrent.

WLIWLIWWMOI = We like it, we love it, we want more of it. Laughing

Yeah, I thought it something like U-Haul or YouTube, where you were doing it yourself. The mu was added as a double joke because it was very small.
Wikipedia seems to say the opposite, though.

I've done that on many an occasion, usually on May 10th or 11th 2010 ......

All my friends and myself pronounce it U torrent (you torrent) if I said micro torrent it would confuse them. Laughing
