Sony Shuts Down PlayStation Network Indefinitely

people are bashing sony because they are a bunch of arse holes,it makes no difference to the average gamer what sony have to do to fix the problem that was caused by sony themselves.why should we give a toss about what servers and protocols they have to set up ,we just want the product we payed for.
people have payed good money to be taken the piss out of .i wont be buying sony again .ill use my ps3 untill it dies and then im going to get a xbox

Besides them not having the best of the best security there was really nothing they could do..its like you getting pissed at your computer for getting a virus...lol

The got hacked a team of hackers who had memebers who went rouge and took over the operation and turned it into a shitstorm of a f**kin with sony.

If this were to happen to xbox ect the same thing would happen....geez..you dont pay for the psn...so you cant really complain about it being down, unless you payed for playstation plus, the product itself was still working...So I fail to see yer point

idk i feel like people are just reading "psn is down" and just go raging without thinking about the situation..

Those are the ones that take the fun out of gaming, I would be happy if they all gave up on the PS3 and went to the XBOX. Good Riddance! Shocked

I'm just waiting to get my free downloads now, Dead Nation and Ratchet & Clank i think.

With the email situation, like A_D said was the same that happened to me, but i have friends with hotmail accounts that have had trouble. I was just talking to one of them and he said it's sorted now after requesting it on the PS3 website.

Does anyone else think that's strange? No other email accounts have had any trouble only hotmail which is owned by Microsoft?

i bought my ps3 with psn on it so i have payed for it and no its not working. i have had to cancell a card ,i have been strung along by sony with their bullshit "it will be fixxed by" lies . not only have they been hacked and had all this latest crap they also ruined the thing with that cinavia anti piracy crap . that wasnt what i payed for i bought it thinking id be able to stream my torrents to it and now i cant.

Especially their anti-spam technology they will block most of your friends and get the spam inside your inbox!
Gmail is great but I made my Hotmail account in 2003 and I can't stop using it
But my PSN is registered with my gmail

well, i got my email, i still have not recovered my account though as there password service is offline and has been since yesterday, reports of there being a security exploit,
