In an attempt to expand my music collection further I went downloading the random "Playlist" torrents with only 1 seed (and probably made someone's day). I didn't find much, but I did find some new bands which I'd never heard of before which I thought were pretty good.
Post some bands which you think would be relatively unknown but deserve to be bigger. (Granted, it will be different from country to country but hey-ho!)
The Ark - Swedish Glam-rock band
The National
Kyle Andrews - Does the Holiday Inn advert
Radical Face - Nikon Advert
Frank Turner - Check out my torrent for his new album.
Foster the People
The Vaccines
That's all for now, lets hear some of yours! |

A band that deserves high praise and release via the nets are a british combo called Hoopy Frood. Its a loose combo who do amazing music that just kicks braincells into gear. Ever heard a reggae dub beat done heavy metal style ? ever listened to a floaty guitar line with a voice in the background or drums that on occasion make you want to run for cover or passages so soft you crank the volume and then have the neighbours calling to turn it down as that soft passage builds to a point of kicking your brain into stellar orbit...... If it sounds interesting then download listen and please visit their website as their music is donation ware. They believe in letting people have it but to make more they need support. |
