Yesterday I granted myself a little gift and bought me a GPS MIO Spirit 470 Explore More (I'm a happy woman now... Laughing )

Already tested the thingy, and it does it's job perfectly like it should. Specially considering the price (€77 at Mediamarkt > for those who might be interested).

I only have a little question about it: when you charge it true USB (directly, no hub), is it normal that the battery is half empty after about 40 minutes of using the device on the road? I know the battery doesn't hold long, only about 1 hour and 45 minutes according to the reviews, but that doesn't bother me (NOTE: I plugged it in during the night, in OFF modus (the device that is, not the pc obviously), so it charged for at least 8 hours.

Mind you, there is a car charger included too, so no problem there. I can keep it plugged in during car traveling so that the battery doesn't go empty on me on long roads, but the thingy is that it goes pretty fast empty when using it without the car charger (IE on my motorcycle).

Just wondering if other brands encounter the same "problem". Never mind the brand, but mind the price (max. €100). More expensive ones will have probably better batteries, I guess.

Cheers and hopefully I've put this in the correct forum (Lounge).

Hardware would of better Wink

Edit: ah, okay. Wasn't sure about it, since it mostly talks about PC hardware stuff, not about other hardware like GPS for example. But thanks for straightening it out. Wink
