Did you mean the Globe and Mail? If so, I'm not sure I'm seeing the left-wing bias. They seem to be falling all over themselves to play up Harper's humane side (as if he had one).

during the recent election reporters asked harper to comment about on of his members endorsing and being bankrolled by the guy that financed the air india bombing (i think, forget now) and harpers cronies surrounded him and began chanting harper harper so loudly that the questions couldnt br heard on the broadcast and then they left when the reporters wouldnt stop asking the questions. So if you have members taking money from, and cosying up to terrorist financers then run away when confronted with the fact, you are hiding ties to terrorism, people here have been sent to a syrian fingernail factory for a mani-pedi /torture session for far less, like programming computers for example.

The Globe and Mail publicly endorsed Harper in the last two elections, and he is by no means "notoriously left-wing".
