slow download speed with bt home hub 3

please can someone give me some advice we have just changed providers to bt and when we have tried to download anything the speed is ridiculously slow.. we have tried changing the settings as advised on some previous posts but still no joy.
i am new to downloading so would appreciate any advice and help on offer thanks

Just download over night. The stop throttling me at around 10/11 pm. Till around 9 am. I've got infinity and struggle to find something that wouldn't finsih over night.

Just cue em up b4 bed. Then get up in morn to find em done. I now never bothering trying to download in day.

BT download speeds are notoriously slow .....

Yeah. With normal bt I was topped out at around 126 Kbps. Which I actually though was ok. Now on infinity I get 2.2 Mbps and it doesn't cost me anymore money.

Please note. Above speeds are unthrottlled. Heck in the day I get Anywhere between a blistering 0.5/4 kbps.

I was going to stick with BT and give Infinity a go but a mate got Infinity installed and was very uninpressed so that put me off.
All I can suggest is opening the Hub settings and makong sure your ports are forwarded, BitTorrent/uTorrent is listed in the Hub settings so it's easy to do.
