Ooooh, chemistry! Used to love mixing chemicals, mainly using my brain as the melting pot in some dirty club somewhere saturday nights/sunday mornings throughout most of my twenties Laughing

And i never felt very scientific, oddly enough...

My mate once told me that if you feed a pigeon magnesium it will explode.

Now i've always wanted to try this but the opportunity has never arose so if anyone has heard of this or has tried it would they please post a detailed dossier of thier results.

I heard that a pigeons stomach swells and explodes if they eat rice, which is why they no longer use rice as confetti at weddings. They use some artificial stuff instead

you get a similar effect by feeding a bird rice or slipping it an alka-seltzer, apparently.
