Hi,
I switched to bitlord after people on hear saying it was better than what I was using before.
The problem is I once my things have finished downloading and seeded for a while I stop them. Then say for instance the next day when I turn my laptop back on I go into bitlord and they all show are 'paused' at 0.00%. If I click on delete it tells me it will delete all the data. My other option is to press start and they re-start downloading again! which is crazy because i know they downloaded properly the first time because ive watched them!
My old sytem called utorrent never used to do this.
Whats the reason, its sooo annoying!
thanks |

wow. Your going to block me? ok :/
Not sure why im a cheat siter or whatever. I used to use utorrent for about 3 years and for whatever reason months ago i was having downloading problems, a friend of mine used bitlord so i downloaded it and started using it instead. Ive not noticed a single bit of difference between utorrent or bitlord, they both have done the same thing, all they do is download things onto my computer. So if they both do the same for me why would it matter.
I dont know enough about things to call people cheats etc...if it works it works as far as im concerned. Does it really matter? Surely not enough block someone for genuinely just using what works on their computer? :/ |

MillerBlade - 90% of people who use bitlord use it for the same reason as you, because it works, however the other 10% spoil it for the rest. You can manipulate the way it appears to be seeding so a lot of people who use other clients just block it, use it by all means, we do not recommend you do and you will run into problems because so many people block it.
Thats why it says this

Thank you, ive tried to pick out the main points. So basically with utorrent after someone has 'downloaded' utorrent will automatically seed the file which sends it back which helps other people be able to download quicker? (Im not up on the whole seeding thing but I know when I go to download something that i need to look for one which has alot of seeders-hope thats right)
whereas bitlord doesnt automatically seed so people can download but make it slower for other downloaders as they arent seeding back?
If thats the case then i dont mind stopping using bitlord, after all I would like fast speeds so why shouldnt i help others get fast speeds.
Or have i got that wrong and now sound like a complete idiot :/?
thanks, danielle |

all things the same bandwidth, set up correctly, etc they all should have similar speeds uploading, downloading but bitlord and other cheater clients have an ability to be used to fake the ratio and send back bad info to the tracker.this from a site i belong to
| Quote: |
Recently we are seeing more and more instances of 'suspect' information sent to our tracker.
We believe this is due to an increased usage of modified torrent clients.
These modified clients have been changed with the specific intention of sending false information to trackers in an attempt to inflate the upload amount recorded and increase the users ratio.
Whilst it is possible to use these modified clients without cheating, the fact that you have a modified client means you have the ability to cheat should you so choose.
We have updated our 'Anti Cheater' routines to identify all instances of modifed client useage.
Any user found to be using a modified torrent client will have their account suspended without notice.
We highly recommend if you have any doubt about the authenticity of your torrent client you cease all seeding / leeching until you have verified you are not using a modified client.
Once your account is disabled for cheating, we will not enter into discussion about how our routines are wrong, once disabled it is permanent. |
as trollster said 90% of people use it as intended but because the other ten doesn't the client and those using it gets banned. |

Hi again MillerBlade, BitLord really isn't a nice app, it's designed to "take" and not "give".
Not your fault it;s the way BitLord works.
Trollster thanks for clarifying that so cleary...cheers mate, |
