What a brilliant move..........it is almost beautiful in it's garishness.

I doubt they actually intended to do this. It was inevitable this would happen sometime when dealing with promoting their own stuff on their own search engine.

Reminds me of Barnum, "There's no such thing as bad publicity"

Except, I don't see why Chrome needs it.....

Lol, I don't think bing has ever outranked google. As much power as google has though, this won't knock them off their throne, just give them a very needed bucket of cold water.

ah sorry, my bad it was a joke...we can lose the "again" part. wrote it at 1:15am so was quite tired, the use of again is indeed incorrect, excuse the mistake Wink

it looks to me like Google made a really big mistake when their subliminal advertising [for you guys known as 'thin' and 'garbage'], and then tried to hide it. but when they failed i'm sure they wanted it to look like someone else's fault. this, to me, could look like an accidental publicity stunt. whether it worked in their favor or not is yet to be seen.

While there is a lot about Google in general that I don't like, I love Chrome. I have a four year old computer and Chrome has revolutionize my browsing experience. I tell everyone about it for free!!
