Hey everyone,

I'd like to start by saying this is an awesome site and I've been using it for many many years. I love you guys! Keep up the hard work!

I know that there has already been a thread for this and it added rather abruptly with a mod saying in essence "get over it", but I still feel that this is an issue significant enough to bring up again.

There is this ad that comes up EVERY time that I load isohunt.com or search or anything (surprise right?). However, that okay, but it yelling at me "congratulations you won" EVERY TIME at MAX VOLUME MULTIPLE TIMES, has brought me to the brink of giving on isohunt. And that, to me, would be devastating! I love you guys too much to go away, but I can't put up with this anymore.

This ad to me would be a glitch if it says its voice thing without even a mouseover? Being a web developer myself, seeing a page load event of this sort seems beyond ridiculous to me!

I know I'm starting to rant now, and I'm sorry, but I don't know where else to go (other than a corner and cry). So pleeaaase try and find some sort of workaround for this ad or get rid of it entirely or something, PLEASE!

And in response to the previous thread of "enjoy the free stuff on the free website", I say to you, I'M TRYING!

Or use Adblock. The choice is yours. The ads is what help keep Isohunt a free service though so please bare that in mind.

then you could have posted something to that effect in the thread about bugs. It may well be a problem but if you are experiencing something that others are not then it could be a case of something at your end ???.

We have had ad's that misbehave and these are reported to the respective makers/suppliers/sponsors and are generally fixed.

whilst no one here is against the use of adblock it is of course a discourtesy also to those that help the site with ad's if they see us every other day telling people to block the very thing that these people pay to have on the site.
Kinda take the money and hide.

No discourtesy intended to you but as a web designer i do not understand why you are having issues with said ad as you are more than capable of solving the issue and must surely be aware of how to block such a thing. Therefore I have little to no interest in the request

Now that might appear negative but reading that you are a web designer in your post leads me to believe you understand the workings of a webpage and its links and are therefore capable of solving the problem for your own browsing with a couple of mouse clicks.
Many of our users know little or nothing of coding html or design but have solved annoying ad's for themselves ??
I find your post very surprising ??

Oh well..... as he joined 4 years ago i thought 5 minutes was time well spent.
