I don't know if this is possible at all or not, but I was thinking that there might be a way to configure an anonymiser such as BTGuard or Tor so that my ISP can't see how much bandwidth I'm using? Or so that it looks like my bandwidth is being used by someone else? Anyone know? I'm still kinda new at this so I don't know if it's even theoretically possible, but figured it would be worth a try. I'm limited to 10GB/month (the maximum allowance available) and I regularly go over this limit and at no small expense. There's gotta be a way to get around this, isn't there?

Can anyone help? PLEEEASE?

Thanks!!

This is a simple map of how your connection works. I wouldn't advise messing with your ISP. They are your god lol. Best option is to do as neph says and upgrade to a better plan.

there is a way but its not for beginners and its illegal, and not in line with site rules its called hacking and can be a theft of service if you are billed by the bandwidth utilization

It would be the same as messing with your water and/or power meter, you will get done for theft of of water/power. Why only 10 gb per month ?

As Lord Garth said, there is a way. BUT... it's not 'If' you get caugh, it's When you get caught. Bypassing a service limit will blackball your name, and a lot of companies do credit checks.
Really don't think you'll find the answer you wanted sorry Crying or Very sad
As mentioned, have a look for a better package/provider.
Is the 10Gb package a mobile deal? as it seems low for a broadband deal in any country.
A lot of the smallprint in most broadband contracts state that as the contracted user, you are liable for any traffic through your connection, and security of said connection has to be protected in some form. Wifi routers now come with preprogrammed keys, each one unique. That'll be the first thing they throw at you if you try to claim that someone else accessed your connection.
