How to spot private trackers

Well, im not sure the subject is correct, what i'm asking is how to see if the file you are downing is from a private server, so that you might not get the hole file.

if you can download anything from it without being a member it's not a private tracker.frequently but not always the tracker on the summary page will show passkey in it.for example

files-x.blocked due to spamannounce.php?passkey=0236...: 1770 seeds

if a file isn't fully seeded you won't be able to get it all from a public tracker,you will only get as much as the peer that has the most.if the availability shows less than 100% you should just move on and not waste the bandwidth.

you can also usually see these in your client immediately private will have dht,peer exchange,and peer discovery not allowed..public will usually be allowed.

a private tracker in your client will also tell you you need passkey or similar,if it doesn't say it on the summary page.
