if all the server operators just started blocking IP ranges that belonged to governments, and MPAA, and cronies i think that would send a very powerful message...if you dont like to play nice GO FIND YOUR OWN INTERNET!

good thinking, but i am sure the governments and MPAA and cronies would find a way around that block and we'll be back to square one again.

when you own the server, you are GOD on that server, and its private property, the fewer servers willing to be a hop point the more congested those that are willing hop points, until its an overload from people trying to connect to the gov and MPAA machines, then no one will want that traffic. in short KICK THEM OFF THE NET!
