ive been looking at wireless headphones and reading reviews. seems for every good review you see a bad one also.
im mainly interested in music from my pc not gaming. been looking at the turtle beach px5, astro a40 and sennheiser 160.
im not running any other wireless equipment so im not too worried about interference from other sources. its funny because i dont see alot of reference to music sound but rather how the phones sound using games.
right now im leaning toward the sennheiser 160 for around 200$. thats the price range im looking at and the reviews seem pretty good for that one.
if anyone has a recommendation or a heads up for this kind of equipment that would be great. thanks. these will be for a new computer, hopefully relatively state of the art.

I use these for music and movies
http://www.philips.co.uk/c/indoor-headphones/fm-transmission-rechargeable-sbchc8440_05/prd/
Clear sound with decent volume control and brilliant range through brick walls, Battery lasts for about 25hours, picked these up new for £39.99
Just got these yesterday, Senn RS170's, yet to test them out. cost £90

hope that helps

I own a pair of Astro A30s (wired, w/ MixAmp) and the sound quality is fantastic. I plan to buy the wireless A40 system soon so if you are still unsure by then I will be able to give you a more informed opinion. I will say that Astro has refused to do wireless for a while now saying that it won't happen until sound quality matches wired. The Wireless A30 set also got a 9.5/10 in IGN. My set comes with a ridiculous amount of connectivity options, you can hook them up to an old Nokia phone if you wanted to. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Update on the 170's
Really Really disapointed with these, sounds are muffled and tinny, bass is almost non existent, tried connecting to various equipment with no difference.
They will be going back for an exchange, hoping it's just a dodgy pair.
Will report again when replacements arrive

yes im seeing those listed at 280$ and noticed quite a few complaints about the bass sound. most consistent good reviews ive seen so far are for the astro A40 which are about the same price. interesting that they have a wired mixamp though the headphones are wireless.
also noticing that alot of accessories to the wireless phones seem dedicated to gaming and im wondering if i could find a stripped down model for less money that would play music just as well than a more expensive set intended for video gaming.
