A couple of weeks ago, pop-up ad tabs kept appearing every time I clicked a link e.g clicking between BitTorrent amd Releases or most links on the page. After showing once, as long as you don't close the ad, new ads don't appear but if you close the ad, the next link click will pop it out again.

It only happens in Opera, all old and new versions. Ads don't show up if Block-All-Popups. But do show if Block-Unwanted-Popups.

Seems not to affect Firefox (probably block-all-popups are default).
Complete virus scan shows nothing (it is not the Vundo virus).

AdBlock will catch the ad as ;
The address http://7.rotator.wigetmedia.com/servlet/ajrotator/193880/0/vh?z=wiget&dim=79059&kw=&click= is blocked by the content blocker.

And usually it's an adultfriendfinder ad.

Inspect-Element doesn't show anything suspicious, so how is the ad rotator doing it?

They pay Isohunt money for the privilege!

It is annoying and BTW I got 2 pop-ups while replying to this post. There are ways to stop it-forgot to implement today.

Everyone should probably just become an Isohunt supporter and stop the ads. Need to follow my own advice someday.....

I dare people to go to any other forum and talk about adblock, lots of sites have pop unders. Because people use adblock sites need to find ways to get around it to make money, stop whinging, got to kickass, the pirate bay torsky rarbg without adblock and see what happens, I dare you to go to their forums and whinge too. Next person to whinge about adds or mentions adblock is going to get banned so they can't whinge again.
