would that stupid internet law be the Digital Economy Bill by any chance. I read an article about that a while ago, wasn't sure if it was a hoax or not though... |

That wasnt a hoax, despite that it sounds like one.
I made a thread about it when the idea was been flaunted....

starting to get off topic here but i'm not sure i want to revive that thread (just seems... wrong) how much of what was originally proposed made it into the final bill?
I was quite worried when i first read about this cos i figured that it wouldn't be long before our government followed suite. |

W.T.F..They take whatever they can wherever and however they can the thieving bunch of di*******. They fill there pockets with our hard earned tax, they buy big posh houses to live in and fiddle what they can whenever they can and lie about it when getting caught, saying "
oh dear it was all a mistake", "i will pay the £250.00.00 back at a pound a week because i,ve spent it all and have an high cost of living to keep up"
. B****** the lot of them |

we already pay a broadband tax in the uk its called the tv license. You have to have a tv license if you have a tv, a radio or broadband internet........ we live in a country with one of the highest tax burdens in the world.
I understand why tax is needed but what pisses me off is that the rich get away with so much when it comes to tax. It's like the whole system is designed so that the rich and the powerful get all there money from the poor masses. This is only getting worse now the economy is going bad (or so we are told) with the increase in living costs. The only way our government has stayed half afloat is by increasing the number of people it leaches from with mass immigration.
I often wonder why our government doesn't buy up businesses to run and make profit so it doesnt have to tax us so much. the only answer i can come up with is that they don't need to because they make more profits from us than they could from any other type of business.
.....................ok i'm ranting a bit there what was the thread about lol
(I just saw the word "tax" and the red mist came over me!!) |
