Yes that's right, calling all UK members, Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson are back as 'Richie' and 'Eddie' for a new six episodes of 'Bottom' in 2013.

The new series will be called 'Hooligan's Island' and seems to be based on the third live show they did (in 1997) which was also called 'Hooligan's Island'.

Personally I would have preferred if they kept the show based in and around their Hammersmith flat with the usual odd cast to back them up but hey ho its better than nothing eh.

Along with the new series of 'Red Dwarf' this year its looking good for UK comedy again, all we need now is 'Blackadder' back Smile

For those who are unaware of 'Bottom' here are some classic clips Smile

ahhh British TV will resurrect anything for money. leave this alone to stay a classic.
its strange but i found it hilarious as a kid but i hardly laugh now if i watch it on Dave or whatever its on. personally i thought hooligans island was the worst of all the live shows anyway.

stupid, mindless, idiotic humour. I used to LOVE it when i was younger! Had me in stitches lol The one where they play chess was my favourite episode. Not big into any british comedies really, but that, i certainly made an exception for Very Happy
