I've read some of the other posts and you better be prepared for plenty more bitterness.
Do not invade our channels with your indexing garbage without previously getting the founders permission.
As if there's not enough pain in the butts on irc now we have to deal with you too.
Your ctcp command that you keep using as a fallback to every post has not appeared to work thus far... I've tried several times and am still kicking bots that appear to be from this site and no file have been removed from the index.
This is beyond horrible and forget about your goals... shut this down now and stop p*ssing off every channel op you can find.
I'm not a hacker and this is not a threat from me but it's only a matter of time before you p*ss off enough people that they attack you.
I'm going to personally ask the admins of the network I'm on.. RenegadeIRC to have you removed completely if possible.
I for sure don't want your BS in my channel.
what idiot gave you this idea in the first place
LOSER!
pack you sh** up and get out of our channels I have no patients for this garbage

i can't say the bot has been extensively tested (the /ctcp stuff are new additions), but I'm pretty sure the <bot noindex> commands work as I've seen it worked several times. If you did type the command correctly, it would be helpful if you can say what happened (what /ctcp command you typed, what the bot replied).

The bot would /msg you with an acknowledgement of your command. If you typed a something that start with /ctcp IH-beta IH ..., it will also /msg you that you typed a wrong command if the stuff after is wrong. If nothing happens, either you /ctcp IH-beta without the IH prefix, or you are not an op on the channel you request to <bot noindex>.

And kicking me isn't going to remove files if you don't type the right command. I've _tried_ to keep it simple. And there is only 1 bot, the nick is IH-beta. One and only. Dont accuse me of any other bots. I know other websites are trying to do fserve indexing like here, so it's either their bots or, even better, riaa's.

And shit you say. You won't get any shit if I operated in silent mode, and not "spammed" you with all the pain in the butt commands. That's what riaa does, but not what i do. Your bitterness probably originate from other places, so don't link them to here.

dude i dont want to have a f**kin [no index] tag on my forum topic.
you are under the wrong impression that every channel should use your rules and your commands to not be annoyed by all this crap.
i do not want your bot here, nor do i want to put tags on the topic or have to make a guess of the correct spelling of a ctcp command to get removed from a database.

try the other way around, and make a ctcp command to be added. youll piss off much less ppl, maybe. cause right now you just force ppl into your crap and then they have to take their time to get out. though its unlikely anyone will actually ask to be added into this, which you should take as a hint that no one actually want your index

you have a point. But i have decided to have an opt-out system rather than opt-in from the start (as most search engines do), and i have no intention to change it.

If you don't like the ctcp commands, just ban the bot. Nick again is IH-beta. Really, this is the easiest way for all of us.

Who are you to dictate OUR lives. you give us no choice inthis matter and in most cases are defying every rule that every channel in the world of IRC stands for .... PRIVACY. Get your bots the fawk out and stop being so damn lazy and crawl through the fservs like every1 in irc has done for years. Or maybe well all pack our things up come over to your house, dl the files, burn them for you, and maybe even beat the game for you that way you have to do even less then what you are trying to accomplish here. Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Fawk you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I concur with the others. Why is up to us to type certain commands that apparently don't work. If you want to index our chans, ASK US FIRST. My chan isnt even on your system, yet, and I would like to keep it that way.
So from now on, ask permission, don't just barg in spreading your disease in all IRC chans.

you replied to a my post with the link "Choices". Have you clicked on it at all?

the old CTCP commands didn't always work, but they do now. But there are new web forms that works anytime and is much more convenient. These are the links that you will get if you don't block it, in case the "disease" spread to your channel:
