AVI FILES HOW TO PLAY THEM

HI THERE HOW ARE WE ..........WE ALL COOL HERE ....sorry dudes i just cant help it no more can someone anyone .... please tell me how to run .AVI TORRENTS ALL I KEEP GETTING IS MESSAGES TO DOWNLOAD PLUG INS TO PLAY MOVIES .... IS THERE SOMETHING I NEED TO RUN A LITTLE PROGRAM I NEED ...........PLEASE HELP

well have you watched other AVI movies before? If not, i would google search and download the Community Codec Pack. Its free.

Also, what exact message are you getting? If you, for example, are getting the message to download another player, this could be a fake.

Whats the error message exactly?

klite mega codec pack (for the decoding of your movie, just install it):

in case that doesnt work (which it should) its probably a fake, but check it with gspot:

now dont come back here without any specific problems... i figure you can read, so if you run into any issues check out the respective pages i sent you to, if then you still have issues come back here... doing your own research is highly recommended... you should have no issues with any of that....

As long as you follow the links that defcom has posted above you should be right. But you could also try reading some of the stickies at the top of each forum as there is plenty of useful information to be found. Wink

Just use Winamp or any other media-playing program.

If Windows media player was having trouble, chances are Winamp will too. They will both request and look for the same codec. VLC, with its own codecs, will play regardless. It will even play .BIN files, that are actually meant to be burned to CD-R as a VCD/SVCD!!

I personally like to use Windows Media Player with the codecs from the Combined Community Codec Pack, along with a few others, but everyone has their own preference.

Bottom line is, if its not working in WMP, it most likely wont work in Winamp either. . .
