error message "unable to read torrent file!"

Can anyone out there help me plz.

I have tried to search for this in the forums but with no success. I am trying to download a torrent file but when I click on the link and chose to automatically open it using BL, I get an erroe message stating "unable to read torrent file!" If I then try to save the .torrent file and try downloading it using BT I get the error message saying "got bad file info"

The file even shows that there are persons connected to it and that the index was updated in the past 24hrs.

Can anyone give me a possible solution for this. The file in question is the complete seasons (1 & 2) of Justice League.

Just an interim suggestion here .. try getting someone you know to d/load the same file using the same torrent client and see what happens. May help to narrow down the problem. {:~)
