I just bought it for PS3 and I love it GTA IV is on hold for now I'll have to get back to it in a week or so. Well to go with it I also couldn't resist buying the
Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel
. Again I love it, Just wanted to get other opinions about it. |

Truthfully, I've never really liked Grand Turismo but my buddy does so I checked number two for him. |

Yea I agree the
Best Simulator ever
I already have the Logitech Momo racing wheel to play Need for speed with, Which I play most of my games on the PC (Except GTA4 and GT 5 now really the only games I play on PS3). I really wish I could have used it with this game it would have saved me 160.00 USD not having to buy a new wheel. |

I cant think of a single game for the PC thats anything near what GT is. I mean theres that piece of crap joke from Atari Test Drive Unlimited, but even that it so far from being 'like' GT it may as well be a first person shooter. The NFS series is too geared towards the arcade style of racing, and the GTR and TOCA games are strictly racing genre, no normal every day cars to upgrade and thrash around. Theres a deffinite gap in the market there for someone developer to fill because I cant ever see it reaching the desktop as long as its popular enough to encourage people to shell out for a PS3. I'd rather not play GT5 that buy one. Last one I played was GT2 before finaly using my PS2 as a trampoline. |

Hahahaha yeah I went through 3 PS2's, But we wont get into that. I really hope this PS3 lasts longer.
And yes the GT series is the only true racing simulator (game) in my book NFS (Most Wanted is the first one I got into f**k Pro Street) is only good for the good Pig chase. |

The only good PC racer is Project Torque , which is a DL'able game through X-Fire , the graphics are pretty good and there are loads of race modes and lots of cars and mods , it is totally online (no single player mode) added to that you can upload your own Mp3's into the game and listen to whatever you want as you race . The aim is to get as much XP , RP and AP to buy things and cars (takes time) . But all in all its the best racer since GT ! |

Here is a picture of my setup with me playing. The first is with a flash hence the white spot in the screen. I also included a picture without the flash so you can see why I used the flash the ligh in this room sucks, But that is what I like for games.

I spent many hours playing the original GT on the PS1. Yeah it sucked me in and I enjoyed it. Would be nice if it came out on PC, I always check for it, the optimist in me I guess hoping for the best. The game always had the feel of realistic driving.
Oh, and who cleans your desk already? I know mine never looks as clean as that one. |

I use a 26" and a 42" HD LCD TV's for monitors on the GeForce 9800GX2. the PS3, TV, And PC can be in any combination on either TV. The bigger on sitting in front of me and the little one to the upper left of me.
