Firefox 3 Download Day and isoHunt mirror, torrents

We have always endorsed Firefox as a better browser than IE, and on behalf of isoHunt I'm proud to say we have attracted a crowd that is not afraid of using a better and more secure browser. I don't believe many large websites in Alexa's top 100 can claim an audience that consists of more Firefox users than IE, and we want to further push Firefox as the best Open Source browser that not only is more secure, but with version 3, it'll also be the fastest of all browsers (for now).

To help meet demands of Firefox 3 Download Day on June 17, 2008 in release of the all new Firefox three years in the making, isoHunt is providing a 150 mbit download mirror as well as Torrent releases to help set a new Guinness world record for most software downloads in 24 hours, without setting Mozilla servers on fire. deffo getting this when it arrives, use mozilla now, 1 of the better browsers out there i think..

nice 1 iso for being third in the pluggin wars....

goes to show it's not all bad...

They f*cked the "Download Day" time really hard.
Everybody is now confused.
Was it that hard to make it easy for the rest of the world to now the exact time?
They want to break a world record and they created a chaos. Rolling Eyes

thanks for the link adamska, but i'm still non the wiser about times. it's 12:40 pm over here and nothing's happening still.

Well Ive been checking since 09:45am GMT (UK TIME) and theres still nothing and its now 12:50pm....but according to the world time chart (thanks adamska) the download will be available from 6pm GMT (UK) Crying or Very sad

wow...looks like spreadfirefox.com is still receiving over 1000 pledged per minute lol....impressive....we should have a pool/sweepstake on the final pledge ammount (closing time 6PM GMT)....my guess is 2,400,000....place ya bets (perhaps we should be taking bets on the release time lol)
