- You can use boolean operators (-, |, OR), wildcards (*, ?), and phrase search (") in your query
- For BitTorrent: Paste in a 40 characters info_hash, to search for that particular torrent and get all trackers for it

There are 3 reasons a DCC send could be pending.
The first
is that you have the file type ignored, so you don't even get the dialog to accept the file. To fix that go to
Options - DCC - Ignore
. There you'll check what method you are using.
Methods:
Ignore only- This means that mIRC won't allow you to recieve any files of the types listed in the list below.
Accept only - This means that mIRC will allow you to get only the file types listed in the list below. So you'll have to manually add each file type you want to the list.
Disabled -If the ignore is disabled I strongly recommend you turn it back on, so you don't get infected by all kinds of virii.
The second
is that sometimes the bot's IP adderesses don't resolve correctly. That means that although you've accepted the file, mIRC couldn't connect to the bot to recieve the file. This means that the bot doesn't know you've accepted the file so the file is pending.
The only fix for this is a kind of
DCC fix
script. The DCC Fix script will recognize an illegal IP address, and try to locate the real bot's IP address and connect to it.
This won't always work because some IRC Networks have a kind of address protection for their users so you can't see their reall address.
You can find the
DCC Fix
script at:
http://www.mircscripts.org/comments.php?id=2273
or built in the
XDCC Browser
script at:
http://www.mircscripts.org/comments.php?id=2138
The DCC Fix script doesn't support DCC Resume protocol, so you can't really resume anything... But the XDCC Browser script fixed that and added a DCC Resume protocol to the fix
The third
reason is:
some servers need you to add the bot to your "DCC ALLOW" List. The means the bot/user needs to be allowed to send you files.
To do this just type
/dccallow +NICK
This command will add the nick to the allow list. To check if that was the problam, just go to the status window and see if you get "DCCallow unknown command" or "Nick has been added to your DCC allow list" .
If you get the "Unknown command" error then that wasn't the problem. |

That's very easy, you just load the script and it works by itself.
To load it go to the remotes in mIRC (Alt +R). Then in that window go to File > Load (Cntrl + L) and choose the script's file (it probably has a .mrc extention).
Or if you want you can also use this comman:
/load -rs Scriptname.mrc |
