Universal Tracker Problem

Ok, I am downloading Wedding Crashers Dvd Leak. IT says there are seeders. But on bitlord it doesnt pick up any seaders i dotn think so because it says 0/60(0/529) So it says there are no seeders. But then it says 500 peers. So now im dearly confused. Also in the torrent info there are other trackers too and it says they have seeders. What the problem? Will it download? IS IT PICKING UP ANY SEEDERS?

The websites (like ISOHunt) can't check ALL the trackers ALL the time. That would KILL the trackers. What they do is CHECK back with trackers and check thier status. Thats why you see in the details.. that the tracker info was XXX hours/minutes/ or days old.

When you connect to a file.. and start to download... YOU connect to the trackers and get a more accurate information.

When a file has multiple trackers your bit torrent client SHOULD check them all. All this does in increase the number of seeders/peers. (Its a good thing).

SOME files CAN be finished with ZERO seeds.... here's why.

Lets say there was a 4 page book you wanted.
There was:
20 pages 1s
6 page 2s
12 page 3s
7 page 4s

As you can see there is enough of ALL the pages so that you will eventually get all the pages.

Azureues has a stat called AVAILABILITY. As long as its over 1.00 then there is at LEAST one copy of what I want. Even when its 0.75.. if I am patient.. sometime I will connect to others in the swarm and that number will change from 0.75 to 2.12. So patience is often the key.

BUT sometime you get a DEAD torrent.. where everyone is passing around the page 1, page 2, and page 4 of my example file.. but NOONE had page 3. There is nothing you can do, but search for a DIFFERENT torrent of that book, and try again.
