I would recommed HD DVD to everyone it's far superior and Blu Ray already lost this battle. Blu Ray just announced it's discontinuing the Blu Ray name.............ummmm, oh nevermind P.S. the kid in Tropic Thunder talking about BluRay vs. HD DVD was hilarious. |

i saw something about that. something about less packaging made it cheaper for the record labels. the only draw back was which card to use and what kind of hardware to use ie; micro sd, mini sd, memory stick. |

What the f**k are you talking about HD DVD lost a long time ago Sony's Blu-Ray won and will be the new standard.

No way BD was going to lose with these stats.
Blu-ray HD-DVD:
- Storage capacity - 25GB (single-layer) / 50GB (dual-layer)
- Data transfer rate - (data) 36.0Mbps (1x) / (video/audio) 54.0Mbps (1.5x)
- Video bit rate - (max) 40.0Mbps
HD-DVD:
- Storage capacity - 15GB (single-layer) / 30GB (dual-layer)
- Data transfer rate - (data) 36.55Mbps (1x) / (video/audio) 36.55Mbps (1x)
- Video bit rate - (max) 28.0Mbps
|
How is HD DVD better the stats speak for them selves. |

This is so fn funny that this is still going. I thought my sarcasm about beta vs vhs would end it all but noone even said anything about that comment. Someone needs to close this and be done with it once and for all. All sarcasm is acknowledged by me so lets move on. |
