Yep, just about sums up the whole debate.
Point well made, young fssalaska .
And, I hasten to add, point well taken. Wink

thats right, it's a serious operating system that really rocks solid and anyone that enjoys multiplayer electronic sports can often find the more stable servers running *nix

imitation is a form of flattery, if one OS creates an option that the public likes and actually helps the end user - then of course an alternate OS will mimic the functionality... sometimes the end result is better than the original other times not
clone? very much not so, under the hood Vista processes things very differently than OS X because of their ancestries...
Vista may have "incorporated" many features *nix users have enjoyed for the past few years, but is still plagued by its legacy code, while OS X has updated it core yet remains *nix based

"Is Windows 7 = Vista SE?"
is a better comparison
lets compare apples to apples
you can't really compare cabbages to potatoes

*EDIT2 edited for spelling and to add this
apples: gala, fuji, green, red, washington, ...
cabbages: napa, red, green, etc...
potatoes: yukon gold, idaho, white, red, yellow, etc...
catch my drift? even though they all have varietals of red, you can't bite a red apple then a red cabbage and say - hey i like X better than Y

I never had probs with Vista, and nither with windows 7, but thats just me.

I dont see it as a clone, i mean in todays world thats what people "dig" these themes, there is no question about it.

XP is still supported, windows 7 is nearing the end of develoment. What piece of crap is in between xp and windows 7. Of course we know it is VISTA, but its predsessor is still widely supported and its successor is nearly here, what does that say about VISTA.
