SlipSour/Stoneknot?

As we all know, Corey Taylor is currently associated with two of the biggest bands of all-time, both Stone Sour & Slipknot. However, both bands tend to equally share a sense of "uniqueness" when it comes to Corey's "split-personality"; Hence, making it hard for many (including myself) to decide which he plays a better part in. I've been a fan of the 'Knot long before listening to Stone Sour, but I've always known that he existed in Stone Sour before them. Now, there just seems to be this slight paradox in mind about which I like more.

Any thoughts?

saw the poll for this, thought i would reply despite how it's an old post.

New Slipknot is sounding a lot like stone sour, so now it rly doesn't matter. However I do prefer old Slipknot.

there Self Titled Album was like one of my all time favorites i listened to that shit so much my parents tried to take it away from me and ban me from listening to them ever again... didn't work though Very Happy

im with mike, the new slipknot is starting to sound a lot like stone sour, but thats not a bad thing stone sour got great tunes but the almighty album always gonna be slipknot Twisted Evil

Two of the biggest bands of All-Time? That's gotta be a joke. Did you forget about The Beatles or Pink Floyd or are you sixteen. I met Corey Taylor at Ozzfest 2000, and I assure you he is an asshole who refused an autograph to a thirteen year old kid after signing for few others including myself.

old slipknot all the way, self titled and M.F.K.R. anything newer just sounds a little too mainstream for what they used to be.

oh definetly, he is a HUGE asshole, just like Slash, i saw an interview where he asked the interview chick if she had sand in her p***y. just cuz she kept asking him questions, in an interview, come on. Its just plain rude. and he really doesnt deserve what he has, he sucks at screaming, he cant do it live, in the studio he just gets really close to the mic and whispers.
