Lol, those types of people are the ones that are only influenced by the media and that do not know how to think for themselves. Either way I found this pretty entertaining. I'm actually surprised how many people are just skipping over this thread. Apparently sitting in mommy's basement means that they are excused from issues that need to be brought up. =]] |

That was funny, that host barely even got his words out before Snoop replied back, lol. And there here Bill is trying to make issues out of things that we already understand. And then Bill's reply back is just classic:

I don't watch the news... guess I am just not doing my duty by "staying informed". Once in a while i will catch Bill on Youtube or whatever, and I will say this... I have agreed with Bill on points he has made on issues, as well as Rush. I can't help it... I see the world through MY eyes, and my eyes were raised in a supportive and loving home. I was educated through College and not for a Liberal Arts Major.
I have to laugh when I hear people saying "influenced by the media". To think you are not influenced by the media is ludicrous. There is only one way to not be, and that is to live in the most remote place on earth... kill your own food and use fire. Even if you do not watch TV or listen to the radio you have neighbors, friends, colleagues, relatives, online acquaintances, parents, children who do, and they feed us their interpretation of the world and you decide whether or not you agree.
If you believe in Global Warming you have been influenced by the media... that's right... it's an idea that got politically popular. And now it can't stop or hundreds of thousands of people will be out of a job.
And I still hate rap, and that song did nothing for me... sorry

I agree with you on that completely, but people act as if they cannot think for themselves and that the only thing to believe is what people like Bill O'Reilly tell them. People cannot have their own thoughts or opinions which really pisses me off. It's like everything is a copy of what someone else says. |

Some can't... some just tuned in, and are basing their argument off a quick google. Some have an opinion, but are afraid to share it... I mean the ones that are really out there... Political views can be extreme. I am not one of them but know one or two, and its better that those people give shallow agreeing answers.
But just remember it works both ways... as a right-wing thinker I see the same on the Demoncrat side... I often... very often, wonder how people can agree with left wing politics... when they obviously have more at stake in another sense. Its as if I am looking at people from an alternate universe. But many times I have to hold back and realize what their media is feeding them... like in other countries.
I mean how many times do you hear of a UK or AUS or Dutchman stating something about being worried to visit America for fear of being shot. I mean we have what? .0002% deaths by bullet, and yet the media chooses to dwell on newsworthy gossip.
I have lived in 5 different states and I have never heard a gunshot go off where I chose to live... though i know it does happen. |

First of all, this is a music forum. And second of all, news networks are generally concerned more with ratings then propagating an agenda. If you wanna talk about agendas, Fox is far and away the worst. I hope you can recognize that at least. |
