My highest speed is just 160kb/s Not bad for me though, an aXXo movie takes about 1hour, sometimes 1hr 20 mins... so all is OK...
Is anyone's ISP here TPG? If so, are their ADSL2+ speeds good? I am currently pursuading my dad to change and I am hoping it has higher speeds than 250 at least... PM me if you have info |

my average is about 300kb/s
the fastest I've ever got something to download is 800kb/s
how the hell would you get it above 1mb/s?! |

Depends on the seeds/location/connection/portforward/connection

You need to also make sure that the ports are open on your pc and that if you are using NAT on your router that the ports have been forwarded on the router.
If they are not open or forwarded correctly, you may receive traffic but very slowly. The web site www.portforward.com give step by step guide on how to setup port forwarding on most routers and applications. |

I have gotten as much as 450 down but generally I get more like 5-10 on most and I'm on a 6mb DSL (down) and around 300k up.
I'd love some more speed but I'm too stupid to do all the stuff you guys suggest. I really suck at this shit.
I AM a movie watching mofo though. I'm good at THAT! |

It is really easy to do mate, just let me know what router you use and what torrent software you use, I'll try and write you something up to help you or point you in the right direction. |

Alright, do you need a router model or just the brand? |

Brad, that was a stupid question. I could just have added that here.
It's a Netgear model WPN824 v2 and uTorrent 1.8.2 Let me know if I need to upgrade that or something.
'preciate the help bro
PS, make it so easy a five year old can do it 'cause that's about the level I'm at |
