A new database replication system is now in place. Hopefully this would solve some of the big database lockup problems recently (when you see the "cannot connect to database..." error).

Small lockups are unavoidable however as the database gets larger (isoHunt now has over 1.2 million files on index), and as site load gets higher (yesterday saw a peak of over 100 simultaneous users online Shocked ), eventually I'll have to shop for more / better and more expensive hardware. Until then, plz continue to support the site ( by donation or, post some releases after registering !), and enjoy the less-often-down isoHunt Wink
