Mechwarrior 5?

I used to play this game way back in the day and loved it. I just stumbled on this and ... well I think I may need to clean up now...

This is something I hadn't even considered re-entering the arena as a new game with modern graphics and physics, I am pleasantly surprised to see this pop up though. I may have to dust off my old joysticks and mechwarrior controls and buy something before I even try it for it once if for nothing else nostalgia's sake.
Anyhow thought I would share this with my fellow gamers here.

The MechWarrior games were my favorite computer games growing up as a kid and I was always, ALWAYS waiting for the next one (and playing MechCommander) until Vengeance came out and then there were no more...... I started playing the Mech games on XBox then and praying there would be another MechWarrior game to add to the series because the ones for XBox were just lacking.

Great post C_F, I've been hoping, praying and waiting for a new MechWarrior game for countless years now and had thought the Mech games were dead.

This outta get some old gamers back into the scene.

you know honestly I thought with the number of older gamers we have here this would have been interesting to more people. Mechwarrior is one of the original pc game franchises I mean it's as old as like chuck yeager's flight sim...
And from what little I see of that video they've stayed true to the basics of the game, while updating it to current tech.
