Coming changes

You may have experienced a sluggish site recently, as it is apparent that server load has reached its limit with the rapid growth of the site, and so is bandwidth. Moving the site to dedicated hosting is immediately needed.

I've fiddled with the format of the site a bit. Yes there are more ads now running down the 2 sides, but I've done my best to maximize space left in the middle for what's important: search results and content. I'm trying out different ads in an attempt to secure stable income for the site, as moving the site to much-needed dedicated hosting cost money ($100+ / month). Bare with me during this trial period when I'm running more ads than I would normally want to.

Once I can settle the finances and hosting of the site, I'll turn to implementing a lot of ideas I have in mind. User submitted releases (with optional NFOs), reviews / comments for releases, file watch, and most importantly, Torrent files searching. Torrent searching will come in 2 parts: 1. the indexing of numerous torrent sites on the web, and 2. a test IRC channel with XDCC packets dedicated to hosting torrents, with scripts that integrate Torrent downloading into IRC clients such as mIRC.

In short, isoHunt will be your 1 stop news, reviews and searching website for the IRC and Torrent networks. If you have any specific feature request, bring it on Wink

now the rate is close to $1 / click, not as good as it was but good enough for dedicated hosting for the site.
